History

Artificial Intelligence Research and Applications (AIra) was founded in 2025 as an international, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications across science, technology, and industry.

The journal was established to provide a high-quality publication platform for researchers, practitioners, and academicians working in emerging areas of AI — including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, and intelligent systems.

Milestones:

• 2025 (March): Journal officially launched and the first issue published.
• 2025 (April): Integration with Crossref for DOI registration and inclusion in PKP Index completed.
• 2026 (planned): Applications to TR Dizin, DOAJ, and Scopus indexing.

Since its inception, AIra has maintained a strong commitment to open science, research integrity, and rapid dissemination of innovative studies in artificial intelligence and its multidisciplinary applications.
